As we start down the aisle to find a seat for Mass, most of us will dip our fingers into the water of a font. In Baptism blessed water was poured over our heads and we were baptized in “the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” With those words and actions a profound and permanent change occurred. We were brought into God’s family. So, those few drops that we place on our forehead as we enter church harken back to that water
